Dr. Ginger Breedlove is the current President of American College of Nurse Midwives, which is also referred as ACNM and is a full Professor at Shenandoah University in Virginia teaching Midwifery and graduate students in the Doctorate of Nursing Practice program.
She also co-founded one of the first free standing birth center in Kansas in 1979 (provided midwifery care for 14 years)
She is a recipient of first Irving B Harris national book award titled, "The Community Based Doula: Supporting families before, during and after childbirth."
She is also an author of federal, state and philanthropic grants totaling over $5 million. Author of numerous articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
