ABOUT JULIE BONAPACE

Julie Bonapace who is an international speaker, researcher, author of Trusting Birth, and a trainer who developed a program to empower parents to take back their births.

Julie Bonapace is also a family mediator with degrees in Social Science and Social Work and an MA in Education.

She trains health care professionals (mid-wives, physicians, obstetricians, nurses, etc) in many countries and has been teaching her pain management and birth preparation method, which is recognized around the world, since 1989.

Julie leads the Bonapace Method workshops in Canada and around the world, which is used to reduce medical interventions for pain management and a couple's stress level by encouraging the father to play an active role during the pregnancy and at the moment of birth.

She is also the first author of the Canadian Guideline on Pain Management for the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada to be published in 2016.
