Laura Uplinger is a proponent of the powerful influence of a mother’s inner life on babies during preconception, pregnancy, labor and during the breastfeeding period.
Laura is fluent in four languages, she leads workshops and gives talks about very early parenting at symposiums, forums, conferences and webinars for birth professionals and the public at large in the Americas and in Europe.
She also addresses high school and university students in Argentina, Brazil and Chili, introducing them to the field of prenatal and perinatal psychology.
Laura works in close collaboration with the Brazilian Association for Prenatal Education, ANEP, and together with its president, Carla Machado, travels to Brazilian towns and cities to give the seminar Pro Mundo Nascer Feliz (For the World to be Born Happy).
Laura is also a faculty member of a yearly graduate course on Birth and Primal Health Research in the Department of Midwifery and Child Care in Chili, 2006 to present.
